Mom's New Career

We have recently become addicted to "Midsomer Murders". I caught a few episodes when it aired on A&E, and, after hearing Orlando Bloom appeared in one before Lord of the Rings, I tracked it down at the library. Anyway, we've seen almost all of what the library has on DVD and my mom has picked the murderer on most of them. My dad got the one tonight.Me? Not a one! They are great stories, some with multiple murders that really do keep you guessing. Some of the methods are quite gruesome, but you really don't see much. Plus, you don't have to see them in order which is an added bonus.

OK, what else is going on? Two of my sisters are arriving tomorrow for a little break from the cold north. About five days after they leave, another sister arrives with her family. Two weeks after she leaves, my other sister. That's one way to see them every year! : )

Ah, the writing. I am slowly making progress on this one fanfic I'm doing now. I believe I'm nearing the end. Just need to tie up a few things. After that, it's on to a story I have promised my online fans for over two years. An original ongoing series. I think my problem with this particular story is that I am doing it without my lead character. Time to give him a break, I think.

A word of warning: Beware the Ides of March!

(sorry this is anonymous but the cookies are doing something weird. I'm Blade, btw. *ticks lj*)

Hi, I just checked my friends of list and am trying for the life of me to figure out who you are... I have some ideas but won't embarass myself like that.

Clue? *batters eyelashes*

Welcome to lj, btw. :)

Ah, I heard about these from the chief sleuth. Didn't know what the series was. And now the big guy has solved one before you, too? First reading books, now solving mysteries? What's in the water down there? I owe you writing assistance, will try when I see you next week. I have a chapter at Beta for the first time since November. Woo-hoo!
