Hell of a Game

Granted, it doesn't look well for the Mets right now in the bottom of the 11th (5-4 Philly), there have been some fabulous plays. I bet all of Baseball Tonight's "Web Gems" could be from this game alone. Well, at least the top 2.

ETA: Game over, Mets lost, but I will admit it was a good game to watch--even though they left 16 on base

One of the down sides of not turning on my tv is missing my baseball. I'll have to look for a recap.

I've got MLB.com. Otherwise I'd hardly see any games at all. Of course, there's always ESPN

Didn't get to watch much, was coaching Shrek's last game and then wrangling children through hwk, bedtime, etc. I thought I heard as many misplays as Web Gems? Wait, I did see Beltran's catch. And Wright lose in railing vs ribs. Fell asleep at 4-4. Your godson's team made a late-season comeback and has a playoff game tomorrow to decide the 2nd half championship.

Alas, I had to go to bed before the game ended since I had to be up at 4:45am this morning. If these aren't some of the most exciting and entertaining games this year, I don't know what is. Tonight's game should be plenty interesting. Of course, if it goes into extra innings again, I won't be able to watch the ending, again, since I have to be up at 4:45am, again.

This is why I love afternoon baseball.
