Just rewatched the finale to Robin Hood and I've gone through four tissues. The goodbye scene and then with Marian in the woods always gets me.

I didn't watch past Series 1 of BBC Robin Hood (and I can't even remember why right now because I did like it), but I totally get what you mean.
