Well, it's basically just been wind and gusty rain here on the east coast of FL. To give you an idea of where I am, from the middle of Lake Okeechobee draw a line east to the Atlantic and that's my general location. The power went out around 8:30 this morning. I prepared for work as usual and then called to see how things were there. I mentioned I had no power and that the road was probably flooded further down. My friend said OK, call when it's close to time for me to leave and see what it's like then. Maybe ten minutes later the phone rings and it's work. The manager said not to bother coming in because the roads are horrible etc.. So the minute I tell my folks, Dad's like, "OK let's play pinochle". I chatted with Co on the phone who had forgotten about our "little storm" (that covers half of the state).

As you can see, the power came back about 30 minutes ago. Not knowing how long it's gonna be on, I jumped on to post to let you all know how I'm doing. Besides, Dad wants to play cards!
