Baseball tickets on sale! However, I am in a circling pattern as there seems to be heavy traffic online. The brilliant minds that scheduled spring training at Tradition Field neglected to take those who work during the day into consideration as there are no night games! Because of this, we'll only be taking in 2 games instead of the regular 3.

To get my Tennant fix, I've begun to listen to some of his audiobooks that I've had sitting in iTunes for months. Right now it's The Merlin Conspiracy by Diana Wynne Jones. It takes place in an alternate world (well, a number of them) where magic exists. It's told by two different point of view and David narrates one. I just love his voice and the favorites for me so far are Hyde (when drunk) and Minnie the Elephant.

Oh for the Firefly fans, I was watching The Mentalist Thursday and our own Sean Maher was on! "It's Simon!" I cried.

{I've so far been waiting 20 minutes for tickets. OK, now it's "technical difficulties" and of course the phone lines are busy}

Last Week's Answers

Co knew them all as she said and did come back to prove it.

Just, and I mean just, finished watching End of Time and I am so glad I had the tissues nearby. I'm sad to see David go but he did have a marvelous send-off. Really can't be too coherent right now.

I think as far as regens go, this is up there with Caves.

Damn, now I'm all stuffy-nosed and red-eyed!

ETA: Why the hell did I decide to watch the Confidential????

Yeah, that's me. Easily distracted by other things and I keep forgetting to post here. I've been catching up on a few shows and I finally got around to seeing Blackpool which I thought was absolutely brilliant. Well, getting to hear David Tennant act with his true voice didn't hurt either. :)

As for other news...

1)Prison Break started up again Monday
2)Torchwood series 2 starts today
3)Spring Training tickets go on sale Saturday
4)Torchwood series 1 DVDs released Stateside next Tuesday
5)My next story in the Doctor Who/TOC Files series (5) has come back from my beta which is a good thing cos I've already started writing the sixth one
6)The beta for my next-to-bt-posted TOC Files story had to back out for medical reasons so there will be a slight delay on that front which means that the next story (which only needs a finish) will sit about a bit
7)Oh, and I've gotten back to working on a cross-stitch I started last spring. Just all the final detailing. When I'm done with that, I might try the David Tennant one I found.

I'm still trying to get my iTunes back in shape after purchasing the new PC. I'm only at about 530 songs when it had been over 1300. But I'll do a quote to keep your minds sharp.

What's the point of going out? We're just going to wind up back here anyway

(TV show)

ETA: I forgot to tell you what the songs were from before Christmas!
1. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas--Judy Garland
2. Gimme Some Lovin' -- Spencer Davis group
3. What Is This Thing Called Love--John Barrowman
4. It's Now or Never--Elvis
5. Refugee--Tome Petty

Hey! I know it's been over a week and I apologize so to make up for it, this is a pretty long post. I actually scratched part of it out at work during a slow moment so maybe I can actually read it.

First off, I'll start with a quote from a film that I think/hope most of you know.
The time has come for someone to put his foot down, and that foot is me.

Next, answers to the songs from last week.
1. People Will Say We're in Love -- Oklahoma!
2. Maybe Baby -- Buddy Holly
3. Oh Darling -- The Beatles
4. Drive My Car -- The Beatles
5. Ami -- Pure Prarie League

Now I'll stick my ramblings behind cuts

As you can see, by the icon, I have seen the new Robin Hood thanks to a friend who loaned me her DVDs. I think it's fun and definitely a Hood for this generation. (Mine was Robin of Sherwood.) For those of you who haven't yet and like all things Robin Hood, give it a whirl!

I am trying to catch up on his back catalog of work and I've rented some things from the library so tonight I plan to view Bright Young Things and his episode of Foyle's War "A Lesson in Murder". If people care to recommend other things (I've already seen Casanova, People Like Us, and Mrs Bradley), let me know!
