I keep reminding my self "You must post in your journal" then it gets to "Journal? What journal?" I seem to spend more time looking at other people's than tending to my own. I've been doing quite a bit of catching up on some tv shows and movies almost to the exclusion of my writing--which I now seem to only do on my lunch break at work.

That particular story is for an ongoing series regarding an original character (Alan Kelly) a time traveler who will eventually meet all of the Doctor's incarnations. I think this one is moving a tad slow at the moment because it involves the Third Doctor who is not a persnal favorite. Anyone who wants to read what I have and give me a push, let me know.

I also have the next in my TOC series (the one with Alan) near done. I just have to give it a decent ending and that should be ready to post.

The stitching is at the outlining stages which can be the most boring really. It takes quite a bit of time. I need to make myself turn off the computer at some point and do some more work on that.

Oh, and next week I get to go pick up some John Simm goodness in the form of State of Play. So can't wait!

OK, I do have a quote this week. More TV comedy.

Kilimanjaro is a pretty tricky climb, you know. Most of it's up, until you reach the very, very top, and then it tends to slope away rather sharply.

Last Week's Songs:
1. He's So Fine--The Chiffons
2. True Faith--New Order
3. Sunday Bloody Sunday--U2
4. My Funny Valentine--Sinatra
5. Take a Chance on Me--ABBA (yes, really)

This Week's Songs:
1. Never know how much I love you, Never know how much I care
2. Dice are rolling, the knives are out, Would be presidents are all around
3. This old house is falling down around my ears, I'm drowning in a river of my tears
4. There's smell of fresh cut grass and it's filling up my senses And the sun is shining down on the blossoms in the avenue.
5. You can send me pretty flowers you can send me valentines Send me letters every day but it won't pay

Hey! I know it's been over a week and I apologize so to make up for it, this is a pretty long post. I actually scratched part of it out at work during a slow moment so maybe I can actually read it.

First off, I'll start with a quote from a film that I think/hope most of you know.
The time has come for someone to put his foot down, and that foot is me.

Next, answers to the songs from last week.
1. People Will Say We're in Love -- Oklahoma!
2. Maybe Baby -- Buddy Holly
3. Oh Darling -- The Beatles
4. Drive My Car -- The Beatles
5. Ami -- Pure Prarie League

Now I'll stick my ramblings behind cuts

As you can see, by the icon, I have seen the new Robin Hood thanks to a friend who loaned me her DVDs. I think it's fun and definitely a Hood for this generation. (Mine was Robin of Sherwood.) For those of you who haven't yet and like all things Robin Hood, give it a whirl!
