Anniversary
Dec. 8th, 2006 07:02 pmNot a happy one, but one that shouldn't be forgotten. It probably doesn't rank as high as what most remember Dec 7th for, but for me it's certainly up there.
It was 26 years ago that John Lennon was shot and killed. I was a sophomore in high school and went through the day in a daze.
So today I wore my "Strawberry Fields Forever" shirt (bought in Central Park) and I'm playing my John Lennon CD. Maybe later I'll watch "A Hard Day's Night".
So, a simple commemoration and that's all that's really needed

Oct. 9th, 2006 04:28 pmYes, today John Lennon would have been 66. Can you just imagine (intended) the creativity we missed? Of course we know he'd be vocal regarding the current world situation. I was going to post the lyrics of a song but I couldn't decide on just one so here are 2.
