Rules:
1. Bold all of the following TV shows which you've seen 3 or more episodes of in your lifetime.
2. Bold and Italicize a show if you're positive you've seen every episode of.

On a personal note, I've watched a hell of a lot of TV!

Tune in tomorrow... )

I just watched the last episode and I'm still wiping tears. It was so beautifully done.
jpgr: (DW Amy & Rory)
Oh I am still a little teary and my nose is stuffy. I think it was those last 15 minutes or so starting with Rory and Amy on the roof. When you think of how things started between them this shows a depth and breadth of love that is amazing. I don't know if I even want to watch the BBC America broadcast in an hour. I guess it depends on how recovered I am.
jpgr: (LOM Sam Head Down)
Why, why, why?? I knew the minute Michael called but it wasn't until it happened that the tears started.
jpgr: (LOM Sam in the Rain)
I know, I know. Some of you are about ready to faint as it's been so long. I keep telling myself "Oh, I have to post" and then the notion evaporates. SOrry. Even so, not much is going on. I only have one more tv finale left (Glee) and then the summer shows start up. (Burn Notice last night) As for the stitching, I think I need to request dispensation from my nephew and his wife as there is no way this thing will be done within the required year.

I am making some progress on my Psych fic and posted the first bit at [livejournal.com profile] psych_tv just to see what people thought and of the two who have responded, it seems positive. I might make a start on the transcript for 5x3 of Doctor Who today inbetween cleaning the closet (always fun, right?)

In somewhat pointless trivia, today in 1983, I graduated high school. I can't believe I remember the date like that. What's even more amusing about this is that [livejournal.com profile] coquillagement sees my ol' alma mater more than she does her own. :D

It now feels like Florida again these past few days. Palm Beach County actually set a record with the most consecutive days with temperatures under 45 (11). It's mid 70s now but overcast with on-and-off showers.

It's been 6 months of 7am mornings for work and it's hard to make myself stay up till 11! I used to go to bed around midnight all the time now it's strange territory.

I've been re-watching Supernatural, sparked by some fic I was reading. Talk is that this might be the last season and I wonder how they will end it. Will one die? Both? A happy ending where they give up hunting or will they just pick up and keep going? So many ways to go with that.

24 starts up tomorrow! Can't wait.

I've actually been making myself work on the stitching for at least an hour a day so I can see some progress being made.

As for the writing, I'm juggling between two fanfics now, the latest DW on the back burner.

Spring Training tickets go on sale next Saturday!

Anything else? Nope, not really.

Since I had a "regular" post? I bet all of you have been on tenterhooks waiting to know the quote and songs. I'll get to that in a minute.

Top Story: They say it'll be in the low 30s tomorrow when I head for work at 6:30. I had to drag out the gloves and scarf though I'm not sure if I'll need them both. I've had the Irish knit out all week. I haven't checked the news recently but they said there's a chance of snow just a couple couties north in Vero Beach and Melbourne.

Entertainment News: The reign of Ten is over. I'm still a little sad but yet I'm looking forward to Eleven. All the tv shows are starting back up after mid-season hiatus or (in the case of 24) starting new seasons. The recorder will have to be programmed again.

Nothing else earth-shattering as my life is a smidge on the dull side. The countdown to the Buble concert has started, though. Two months from tomorrow!

I said I'd post Sunday and here it is Tuesday. Well, back to work at that lovely 5:30 am schedule and I've had nasty headaches my first 2 days back. Hmm, why is that? Anyway, really didn't get as much writing or stitching done as I had hoped but I did some. I've caught up on all seven series of Spooks so I'll be ready when that starts up soon. I've also started re-watching Psych which I have loved from the beginning. I still find myself laughing at Shawn and Gus. Really, who wouldn't? Sarah Jane Adventures start in a few weeks (Oct 15, I believe) so that should be fun, especially the episodes around my birthday! (Those in the know know why)

That's what today was. I woke up for the third morning in a row with a nasty headache. I'm leaning towards sinus-related because it wasn't dibilitating like a migraine. Anyway, the only thing truly constructive I did today was clean the bathroom. Other than that, I spent the day either at the computer or on the bed watching TV and doing cross-stitch.

I had myself a little Spooks marathon inbetween baseball and tennis. When it first aired over here on A&E under the guise of MI-5, I had only gotten as far as series 2. I think when it came back for series 3, I missed the first two eps so I was a bit lost. Anyway, I just started series 3 so I know I have a ways to go. Hm, what else? Sad news on the tennis front and I have already conversed with [livejournal.com profile] hfleming8 regarding Andy.

I posted another DW fic on my fic journal and some DW comms so if you're interested, please take a peek.

OK, now that company is gone and Co is back home, it's time to continue posting. Not much is going on so I think a quick rundown is good.

1. Stitching: It's coming along well though I still have my doubts it'll be ready in time for the wedding July 3. I'll put up a picture later in the week.

2. Writing: My story revolving around The Sound of Drums has been posted around LJ and on some other fic sites but still no reviews. :( I'm working on its sequel so hopefully that should be up soon.

3. Fandom/TV: Prison Break started up again Friday. However, there are only 4 episodes left. Ashes to Ashes also returned this week and with a new underlying mystery regarding Alex. I got to watch Planet of the Dead with my niece and nephew the Saturday before Easter. It wasn't "wow" in any realy sense, more of a romp. Nothing new until around November according to RTD. Oh, has anyone else been catching the Firefly winks in recent episodes of Castle?

4. Baseball: OK, not a great start by any means, (below 500 at 6-7) but it's early days yet.

OK, I think that's everything so now to what you've been waiting for.
