Has It Been That Long

Since I had a "regular" post? I bet all of you have been on tenterhooks waiting to know the quote and songs. I'll get to that in a minute.
Top Story: They say it'll be in the low 30s tomorrow when I head for work at 6:30. I had to drag out the gloves and scarf though I'm not sure if I'll need them both. I've had the Irish knit out all week. I haven't checked the news recently but they said there's a chance of snow just a couple couties north in Vero Beach and Melbourne.
Entertainment News: The reign of Ten is over. I'm still a little sad but yet I'm looking forward to Eleven. All the tv shows are starting back up after mid-season hiatus or (in the case of 24) starting new seasons. The recorder will have to be programmed again.
Nothing else earth-shattering as my life is a smidge on the dull side. The countdown to the Buble concert has started, though. Two months from tomorrow!
Last Year's Answers

(Back to literary quotes finishing up the pages from last year's calendar)
"Wizards much older and cleverer than you have devised our new program of study. You will be learning about defensive spells in a secure, risk-free way."
1. We all came out to Montreux On the Lake Geneva shoreline
2. Every night I'm lyin' in bed Holdin' you close in my dreams
3. I was on the outside when you said You said you needed me
4. Is she really going out with him? Well, there she is. Let's ask her.
5. Friday night I'm going nowhere All the lights are changing green to red

Date: 2010-01-11 02:26 am (UTC)1. Hee hee, "Smoke on the Water" Deep Purple. We are always doing the cymbal "shh-dd-shh-dd-shhh" part then someone kicks in with the "bahm bahm bahm..."
2. "Best of My Love" Eagles (bts) and might I say, that's an interesting segue?
3. "I Will Follow" by some obscure band from Ireland.
4. No, it's not Joe Jackson, it's the Shangri-Las singing "Leader of the Pack" (vroom, vroom)
5. I've been greedy, I will leave this
Sorry about the cold weather. See that it warms up by March.

Date: 2010-01-11 04:54 am (UTC)As I type, my computer tells me it's 40 outside. Strange thing is, it's supposedly gonna be near 80 by the end of the week. Seems only in Florida.
