On Orders

During an IM convo with Co, she informed me that since more are "Friending" me, I should actually write entries. Thing is, not much happens here that would be worthy of informing everyone. No amusing or annoying anecdotes from work or the neighborhood. I did have a busy day off yesterday though. I had my electrolysis in the morning and was out of there around 11. I had a dentist appointment at 1 and didn't feel like going home then driving back into town so how did I kill time? Borders! Picked up about four books or so then went to the dentist. When I got out of there I drove down to the Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens (about 45 minutes on US 1) because that's the location of the closest Apple store and I needed to picked up a protective case for Serenity (my new iPod nano), OK, I was in and out of there pretty quick and on my way home, something else beckoned: Barnes and Noble. OK, so it was about 5 before I got home. Not bad, but I was pretty pooped. BTW, Serenity now has around 275 songs with the capacity for 1000. I think I have a ways to go!

OK, on the writing front: I always have a bunch of ideas and never really get past that or I write a few pages and stop.

1) Part of an original time-travel series and I have the characters in Renaissance Florence

2) A planned Hogan's Heroes story in which I place another original character who was once a thief now working with the OSS/French Resistance

3) A Dr Who story based during a real incident that took place in my hometown during the American Revolution

4) A story based in the world of Dr Who but with original characters first used in an online RPG game

5) A Sentinel fic that is a sequel to a previous wotk in which I yet again mix in original characters
