Spring is Here!
Mar. 1st, 2007 08:05 pmYep. Went to my first spring training game today and was over the moon. The day was beautiful, the people in the stands were polite and not too annoying. Oh, and we won!
So, in honor of baseball, that is the topic of the quote this week (and it's from player who debuted in 1915 and was voted into the Hall of Fame in the early 1940s)
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
Since no one even guessed last week's I'll tell you now it was Dante. Maybe I should stick with lyrics for a bit, eh?
