Home from Vacation

jpgrYep, got home Sunday afternoon and really didn't do much of anything. Did some unpacking only because I needed stuff but laundry waited till Monday.
The majority of last week was nice quiet lazy time since my brother, sister-in-law and nephew work so I was in the house by myself. Did some reading, some writing, a little computer time and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Friday we made it into DC and since a friend of my nephew's from college works at the Capitol, we got an insider tour, including a chance to sit on the House floor!

Afterwards we lunched at the Hard Rock where we spotted this on the stairway to the restrooms.
Right next door was another (in)famous landmark.
Afterwards we wnt into the House where Lincoln died and then to the International Spy Museum which is really cool. The layout is spectacular, esp when they get into the Cold War and Berlin. We were there for 3 hours!
Saturday was a lazy day as I was suffering a major headache and my nephew, who had been out late the previous night, sank into the couch and proceeded to watch the Mets lose and Rags to Riches win.
Oh, and the quote? Back in the USSR
