Time to get Started

Well, I'm not really one for journals or diaries. I've never done it before well, because I thought it silly. I mean I really don't have much of a life that needs commenting or venting so I really don't know what I'd say in a place like this. the only reason I'm here at all is because of my sister who is very into this. I signed up mainly so I could comment on her entries but then she said I had to make my own, so here it is. I don't know how often I'll be here but things might pick up a bit as family begins to come down and visit (and boy have I got family!)

OK, happy football is over and baseball is around the corner. Got tickets for spring training and might try to get tickets for the Mets/Marlins later in the year.

My friend and I like doing road trips, mainly staying in state (went to Orlando and Key West last year) and we might aim for Tampa or St Augustine. As a joke I commented about driving to NYC and she wants to with a few other stops on the way like DC, Baltimore, and Philly. What have I done?

As I get the hang of things, posts hopefully will be more interesting and I might play a bit with the settings

Ah, well, there you are. Welcome! It's fun, even if just to read what others are writing. Good avitar. Do any of your writing buddies have ljs? LJ can work well as a support group, so ask them. Look around and you'll find groups to subscribe to. Plus it's fun to read the friends of your friends and "meet" people that way.
And now, I'm sleepy. And no, I didn't post this week. Too tired and beat up by life all week - no time to think.
