I'm in a Steam Room

In the hopes of warding off a cold, I have the humidifier going to ease my dry, sore throat. Other than that, no news to report.

I ordered a wedding cross-stitch for my nephew and his fiancee and just as I hit the "confirm order" I saw it was a no-count cross-stitch which I really don't like doing. I immediately sent an email to cancel but nothing happened and it arrived Monday. I also ordered my second choice which is a counted cross-stitch and hopefully that should arrive soon. I have less than 5 months to complete the stitching since I'll have to get it framed in time for the wedding.

I posted my latest Doctor Who fic to a number of sites both on LJ and off. It already has a number of good reviews which makes me happy. I've actually started another one which is starting a little slow but hopefully will pick up once I get all the exposition out of the way.

I've tried cross-stitch many times, but I just don't have the patience for it. I've only managed one framable piece and since that's a Winnie the Pooh, it's probably time to get that out the 12 year old's room.

I am so sorry about repsonding. Only a week. Yes to both. As for the throat, I got better over the weekend but it started up again today at work. There has got to be something in the building that is setting me off.

Nah, there's nothing there to get on your case over. I really don't know if it's a cold or a reaction to something at work. I got better over the weekend and then it started up again. The second cross-stitch (the preferred) should arrive this week and I'll get started on that. The other I'll keep as backup.
