Another week of 5:30 mornings. It's been a month now and my body has already made adjustments to this new schedule. I usually start drifting off around 10 and that's the time the only 2 shows I really watch right now start. (The Philanthropist and Psych) Both are programmed into the VCR. :)

We won't talk baseball. It's as simple as that. I think Co already expressed it quite nicely at her journal.

As you saw previously, I've gotten back into the stitching and I actually started on the names. I'll do a few more stitched on the top half and then I'll be ready to move to the bottom. All the final detailing I'll do all at once.

Writing is moving slowly. In my latest TOC/DW fic, I really have thought of an actual plot as I mainly wanted Alan to meet Donna so the action just might be secondary.

Not much else going on here so on with the quiz.

Last Week's Answers

The quote was from Walden by Thoreau

1. Love is the Seventh Wave -- Sting
2. I Don't Know How to Love Him -- from Jesus Christ Superstar
3. The Little Old Lady from Pasadena -- Jan and Dean
4. Tomorrow -- from Annie
5. You Raise Me Up -- Josh Groban

This Week

"Then imitate the action of the tiger./Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,/Disguise fair nature with hard-favoured rage."

1. ...And I don't know if I'm being foolish Don't know if I'm being wise
2. When suddenly you you sight someone for whom you yearn
3. Got a good reason, for taking the easy way out
4. I sit and wait does an angel contemplate my fate
5. ...Other dancers may be on the floor Dear, but my eyes will see only you

I think 1 is 'Love is in the Air' but I forget who sang it.

And 5 is one of my all time favourites - 'Sway', sung most famously by Dean Martin.

I recognise the quote but can't place it right now...

#3 is Day Tripper, yay me.
Sorry about the hours, hurrah for the stitching, and we won't talk about that other thing.

Yep, "Love is in the Air" by John Paul Young and "Sway" (this version by Michael Buble though Dino's is the first version I ever heard). The quote is from The Bard

You actually got a Beatles song? ;) I'm rather surprised regarding the quote as you are responsible for getting me interested in this particular playwright.

Yay :)

Bard? Right then, how about... Macbeth? Just guessing though!

I keep meaning to comment on your posts after I come up with some guesses but then I never do guess and forget to come back. I was feeling really psyched about baseball until the last three games. The Phils are still having a great year though, so no complaints from me.
