Shakespeare Bug
Jan. 11th, 2009 03:39 pmYes, I'm making my way through the BBC Collection of the plays and I'm now on Richard II. Where else can one see Derek Jacobi and John Gielgud on screen together? Wow.
Because I am going to see the Reduced Shakespeare Company on Saturday, I am on a little bit of a kick. I've found some of tbe BBC productions and so far have see Much ado About Nothing with Robert Lindsay, Comedy of Errors with Michael Kitchen and Roger Daltry, and Julius Caesar. Next planned is Macbeth followed by Hamlet with Derek Jacobi.
Now I'm off to bake my seasonal specialty: spice cake.
