I wasn't sure what I wanted to do this week but then I saw something today that made me go "Yes, that's it!". Staying literary but poetry.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved....

I won't worry about the poet but I believe most people will recognize the poem.

Oh, went and saw Pirates last night at a sold-out 8:00 showing. I'm still processing some of it but it was "wow"! Even though they say this is the end, there are still some unanswered plotlines that could keep them going if they decide to.

Keith Richards does show up as Jack's dad about 2 hours into it and they did look pretty funny together. ANother thing that was truly strange, as pictures and lines kept happening, I was saying to myself, "That would make a good icon!"

Welcome! I usually post a quote every week. Movie, TV, songs, literature and sometimes from (in)famous people. The other day at work I saw a veteran selling poppies and I knew that's what I had to use.
