jpgrIt's been a little bit longer than normal for me between posts and I apologize. But really, not much going on here. I think things at work are slowly picking up. As it's Florida, it's very season based and always slow in summer. This summer, though, has been particularly tough. Hours and shifts have been cut, the shelves are very empty and customers insist we're closing even though we're not. Anyway,things looking up there.

I sent off my 9th Doctor fic to be beta'd along with the companion Torchwood piece so they should be posted soon. I also have a DW fic started ages ago written in tandem with my oldest online friend (I believe). When there was talk of DW being brought back as a theatrical release, my friend and I talked about what kind of plot we wanted and who we would cast. Ioan Gruffudd became the Doctor and, as we wanted a real American companion--and someone who was also a name enough for the cinema--we decided on Natalie Portman. ANyway, the fic just needs a bit of polish (ie. description and missing scenes) and that should be ready.
I've also been helping out a DW transcript site and have so far done The Shakespeare Code, Daleks in Manhattan, and Evolution of the Daleks. I'm in the midst of typing up The Lazarus Experiment now.
Last Wednesday, a friend from work and I went up to see Pedro Martinez pitch his first real game since undergoing surgery last fall. Here are a couple of pics.
Oh, and I'm making good progress on getting my icons back. Slowly but surely! : )
