Busy Weekend

Like most, I picked up my copy of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" Saturday after work. Normally, I would have pounced on it the moment I got home except I was already into another book. I did read the first chapter at about 1:00 am though. Sunday I had the day off but was out most of the day, My friend and I drove down to Hollywood and ate at the Hard Rock and then continued on to Adventura where we saw "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" which I liked far better than the memories I had of the original. As one of the movie poster put it "Semi-sweet and slightly nuts". Ironically (Or perhaps purposely) one of the trailers was for "The Goblet of Fire"! I got home about 7:30 and read more of the book. Another chapter before I left for work and quite a few more since I came home. I should be done by tomorrow night (hopefully). I'll be able to share some views and opnions by then.

The Bookworm finished it today. When you're done, you can go back and read my LJ with all the spoilers.
I hated the original film of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Johnny Depp is creeping me out too much with this one. Don't think I'll see it. Still love the book, though. Luke read it a few weeks ago.
