Brush Up Your Shakespeare

jpgrTonight I am going with a friend to see the Reduced Shakespeare Company do "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)". I saw this on PBS a few years ago and pounced on the DVD the moment I saw it. It's 3 guys who condense Shakespeare. They spend the most time on "Romeo and Juliet" and "Hamlet". "Titus Andronicus" becomes a cooking show; the history plays are done as football; they rap "Othello" and they combine all the comedies into one. If you can find this DVD, I strongly recommend it. You don't need to know your Shakespeare to enjoy it. I'll post tomorrow with a review!
