Spring is Here (Kinda)
Mar. 3rd, 2005 10:29 pmToday was the home opener for the Mets' Spring Training, a sure sign that summer is around the corner. My 2 friends and I have been looking forward to this since, well, September. Anyway, the weather was kinda cruddy but we kept saying, "There will be a game. There will be a game." However, the gods of baseball were not with us and it was rained out. A bonus is that in exchaning our tickets, we ended up getting cheaper seats for 2 games! Now we just have to divvy the driving duties.
The family "B&B" has already seen it's first guests come and go. One is already booked for the end of the month and another due in April. Now one brother and another sister have to fight it out to see who will be staying early March. At least this way I'm assured of seeing practically all my siblings!
The writings are moving slowly but surely and I hope to decrease the number of unfinished stories by one. What do I write, you ask? Right now, the marjority are fanfic and two original series. I write when the mood strikes and the inspiration determines the story worked on. It can be aggravating. I find if I force myself to concentrate on one particular story, it slows the pace considerably. I'm sure many writers can say the same.
