A Good Day (So Far)

Even thought I had to get up at 5:30 this morning. That seems to be the new Saturday schedule for me at work. I don't really like the early start, but I do like getting home at around 3:00. As I was getting ready to go, I saw a customer wearing the "You Never Forget Your First Doctor" shirt. It looks really good in person. Needless to say, I started a conversation. This is the first real-life Who fan I've met. We would have talked longer if I wasn't being rushed to clock-out by the manager.

The Mets are actually on a roll! I love it. They actually had a marvelous game on national tv. (C'mon, dakfinv, you have to admit it was great)

The stitching is moving ever so slowly and there is no way it will be done in time for the wedding. I've decided to bring it with me, a work-in-progress, just so they can see it.

I went and saw Wolverine on Tuesday. It was interesing to see his beginnings and to pick out things that would later appear in the other movies.

No, I'd rather things are kept interesting and I like a good challenge. My boys will just have to try harder next time we meet. At least Cole Hamels seems to be back on track. He did make it through one game without getting hurt in some freak accident!
