First Post of "Summer"
May. 26th, 2009 10:55 amWell, for me, there are about 3 "first days" of summer. 1)Openning Day of the baseball season, 2)Memorial Day and 3) the Summer solstice, the "true" first day. Well, wherever you were yesterday and whatever you did, I hope it was fun. As I didn't have plans until later in the day, I was ready to sit and watch the French Open on tv and work on my stitching. ESPN seemed to have different plans as they did not televise the tennis. So I missed watching Nadal, Federer and Roddick. Today, I will get to see Blake and Djokavic so that makes up a bit.
I have been neglecting my stitching so badly these past few days so I plan to really work hard on it today.
As for my writing, I have a few more scenes left to go (at least in my head) but that might change when it comes to the actual writing. I think I may need to do more on that than just at work on my lunch.
I'll be heading up to Maryland in one month so I have to start figuring what errands and chores I can do ahead of time so I'm not breaking my neck on that last day off before the trip. I will admit I am a list-maker when it comes to packing and travelling. If I don't, things are very easily forgotten even if it's something used all the time. Hopefully I won't have to add worrying about hurricane shutters to the list.
