This Is Me Begging...Again
Mar. 8th, 2010 07:57 pmI have become addictied to the corresponding site to The Seven Ages of Britain where you are presented with seven "quests" composed of seven questions that touch on topics covered in the show. There's no time limit and you are encouraged to research online. This time is a little tougher as I've only gotten half. So I come to you and hope that you Brits or fellow Anglophiles can help me. I'll hide the questions under the cut.
1. How much money did the original John Lewis take on his first day's trading? (write in the form "_s _d")
2. Bordesley Middleway in Birmingham passes over a famous canal. In which year was this canal nationalised?
3. After the development of Edinburgh New Town, there was a mass movement from the Old Town to the newly constructed area. This historic exodus is commonly referred to as what?
You can either tell me if you know or direct me to sites where they have the answer. Thanks! I promise to make a "real" post when I also tell you all about the Buble concert!
ETA: Thanks guys! I got it!
