Well, remember last week when I said I had 2 weeks to prepare for company? Well, I kinda forgot what day Easter fell on. Company arrives tomorrow in the form of my sister, her husband and 3 boys and they'll be here till next Saturday. And Thursday sees the arrival of Co and her family so it'll be like one giant sleepover for two nights. Needless to say, that major cleaning I talked about, never happened.

Both the stitching and writing are moving along well and the first part of the story has been sent to the beta so after I make the recommended corrections, I'll start posting.

Last Week's Answers

The quote was from All Quiet on the Western Front

1. Spill the Wine -- The Animals
2. Take On Me -- A-ha!
3.

4. The Magnificent Seven -- The Clash
5. When You Say Nothing At All -- Ronan Keating

This Week

"Witness, eternal God! Oh, witness that, from this hour, I will do what one man can to drive out this curse of slavery from my land!"

2. Hans plays with lotte, lotte plays with jane Jane plays with willi, willi is happy again
3. You saw me standing by the wall, corner of a main street
4. I need to laugh, and when the sun is out I've got something I can laugh about

Windows open, cardinals singing, baseball on TV -- does it get any better than this? Started Easter decorations, at least inside, made beds for [livejournal.com profile] coquillagement and family who will be here some time Saturday afternoon

Went to my final spring training game Monday night to see the Mets play the Dodgers. Mets won! It was a fun game. Losing record in the spring so hopefully it's like that acting adage: "bad rehersal, good run". We can only hope. : )

OK, now for the quote. I am surprised no one got "Embraceable You". This time I'll go with TV.

I'll stick with gin. Champagne is just ginger ale that knows somebody
